If you enjoy exploring the countryside by bike, you’re in luck.
Tuckers Grave Inn sits right in the middle of some beautiful Somerset cycling country, with quiet lanes, old railway paths and plenty of scenic routes nearby.

Whether you fancy a gentle countryside ride or a longer adventure towards Bath or Frome,
there are some fantastic routes within easy reach of Tucker’s.

 Colliers Way (National Cycle Route 24)
One of the most popular cycling routes near Tucker’s is the Colliers Way, which follows old railway lines through the Somerset countryside.
It links Radstock, Midsomer Norton, and Frome,
with a mix of traffic-free paths and quiet country lanes.
The route is ideal for relaxed cycling and is suitable for families as well as
more experienced riders.

 The Bath Two Tunnels Greenway
For a slightly longer ride, head towards Bath and explore the famous Two Tunnels Greenway.
This route runs through two historic railway tunnels, including the impressive Combe Down Tunnel, one of the longest cycling tunnels in Britain.
The route is mostly traffic-free and makes for a brilliant day ride, especially when combined with the Colliers Way.

The countryside around Tuckers Grave Inn is perfect for walking. Quiet lanes, public footpaths and rolling farmland stretch out in every direction, making it easy to head off for a wander straight from the pub.

A gentle walk through the fields and lanes surrounding the small village of Faulkland.
This is a lovely short countryside walk with open views across farmland and the Somerset hills.
