A quick briefing before you book...

The ground: Grass, gravel, lumps and bumps.

The atmosphere: Midweek is quieter. Weekends have live music and more people.
Choose according to your tolerance for other humans.

Pitches: Pick on arrival. Individual pitches and hardstanding can’t be reserved.
​
Groups: Five or more adults require a refundable Responsibility Bond.
We trust you individually. Collectively, we'd like a deposit

Weekend stays: From 1 March to 30 Sept,
Friday & Saturday bookings will be a minimum of two nights. Why?
Because one-night bookings are like buying one shoe. 
Technically possible, just not very useful.
​
Food: Pasties, filled rolls and cheese boards in the Inn during the week;
more choice in the Parlour weekends.
At peak times there may be a wait. Luckily, you're in good company
​
Your own food and drink: Welcome at your pitch, but not in our licensed areas.
We do sell drinks. It’s quite a big part of the business.​​ 
Bringing your own pint into a pub is generally frowned upon.
​
And before you ask… no laundry, guest freezer or ice for sale.
(Washing your pants and storing your fish fingers is a step too far.)
