Welcome To

Faulkland . Somerset

 BA3 5XF

The World famous Tuckers Grave Inn can be found on the A366 just outside the sleepy Somerset village of Faulkland, just 15 minutes from Bath.   This 200 year old cider house, 1 of only 6 left in the country, is on the National inventory of Historic Interiors & has hardly changed since WW1.

With no real bar to speak of, the beer barrels are stacked on stillage in an alcove, tapped, spiled and poured directly from the barrel into your glass.

You can also buy a selection of local ciders, Lager is on tap & there are lots of local bottled ciders to choose from along with your usual tipples & mixers.

"Timeless Excellence"

The interior is rustic with some original Georgian wood panelling, stripped back wooden floors, a working Victorian fireplace, settles, pews & large wooden tables where you will have no choice but to sit, drink & mingle with the colourful locals and engage in some friendly banter.

Enter into The Tap room with its original Georgian painted door sign, you'll find a shove ha'penny board where parents and kids regularly get caught in the competitive spirit of this almost forgotten game. There is a large fire place with a roaring wood burner and possibly a sleeping cat in the window seat or a snoring dog under foot.

"A Proper Pub"

Tuckers Grave has its own skittle alley where local teams still compete regularly. The large alley, with its own wood burning stove, is also available for functions, stag/hen parties, birthdays etc. So give us a call or drop us an email so we can discuss hosting your event.

The amazing beer garden that overlooks some beautiful countryside, is a perfect place to absorb the real taste of Somerset. While-away an afternoon with friends or pop in after a walk. The garden has been the venue of many a summer party, under a marquee or open air with adjacent fields available for wild camping, an ideal location for a Somerset knees up. We also have a large carpark, so plenty of room to visit.

"Probably The Best Pub...Ever!"

With a devoted following from local villages & further afield, you will be drawn into the friendly local chatter and feel a real part of this unique community. You could be leaving having bought a half dozen free range eggs, learnt a whole new dialect, "Giz a gurt big pint of thee best Zummerzet Zider yung'un" and made a host of new friends,  who will probably remember you when you return.

"Tuckers Grave Inn really does offer the best that English rustic charm has to offer and it is a traditional pub in every sense.
